What is Breathwork?

So what is breathwork anyway??

Breathwork is structured breathing. Any conscious control of the rate, rhythm, and depth of breathing is breathwork.

  • Consciously pause and take 3 deep breaths before you open your email in the morning and you're doing breathwork.

  • Do a few rounds of 4-7-8 breathing (inhale for 4… hold for 7… exhale for 8) to help you fall asleep and you're doing breathwork.

  • Focusing on slow, deep breathing during meditation or while listening to a visualization and you're doing breathwork.

I love facilitating hour-long private or group breathwork sessions that will leave you feeling brand new and super relaxed afterwards AND we don't always have the space or time to lie down to breath for 30-60 minutes.

All conscious breathing is breathwork.
